Privacy policy

This policy explains how Shaffans Studios handles information in its mobile applications and related services. The information involved depends on the app and the features you choose to use. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

Information may include content you enter into an app, details you send to customer support, device information, app usage statistics and crash reports.

• Textify: text submitted for writing, grammar, translation and reply features.
• CountX: event names, dates and reminders used for countdowns.
• Customer support: your contact information and the details you choose to send us.

Owly, Unhook and AI Cleaner have different features and permission requirements. Check the privacy disclosures linked from each app’s App Store listing and the permission prompts in the app before sharing information.

We use information to provide app features, respond to support requests, manage subscription access, personalize the experience, understand usage and improve performance. Device information and crash reports may help us identify and fix problems.

Textify uses the OpenAI API for text-processing features. Text submitted to these features is sent to OpenAI for processing. Provider retention depends on the service and its configuration; this policy does not promise that a provider immediately deletes every request.

See OpenAI’s API data controls for its published processing and retention information. Avoid submitting sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

We may also use third-party services, including analytics tools, to operate and improve the apps. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, property or safety.

Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple. Shaffans does not directly store or process your payment card details. Subscription information may be used to manage access to paid features.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide app functionality or meet legal requirements. For Textify, our existing policy limits storage of submitted text on Shaffans servers to cases where a specific feature requires it. Third-party processing and retention are described separately above.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, or receive a portable copy of your data.

Email [email protected] with the app name and the request you would like us to consider. Do not include passwords or payment card details. The availability of a right depends on the circumstances and applicable law.

Information may be processed outside your country. Where applicable, international transfers require appropriate data-protection safeguards.

Our existing privacy policy states that the apps are not intended for children under 13 and that we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data.

Policy updates will be posted on this page. App Store age ratings and device compatibility should also be checked for the specific app you plan to use.

When a visitor follows an App Store link, this website records an aggregate count by app, source page and UTC date. This counter does not set cookies or store IP addresses, visitor identifiers, user-agent strings or browsing profiles. It does not measure unique people or confirmed installs. The counter respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Daily totals are kept for reporting and older rows are cleaned when the administrator opens the report. Hosting and security services may separately process technical request data as described in this policy.

Unhook, Textify, AI Cleaner and CountX use Google Firebase Analytics to understand app usage, measure onboarding and feature interactions, assess subscription flows and improve the apps. Depending on the app and interaction, analytics may include app-instance identifiers, device and app information, interaction events, and subscription or purchase-related information. Analytics data is not necessarily anonymous.

These apps also integrate Meta App Events and the TikTok Business SDK for advertising measurement. When you allow tracking through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission, these services may receive device identifiers, including the advertising identifier where available, technical device and network information, and events such as app activation, onboarding completion, paywall views, trial starts and purchases. Purchase-related events may include the product identifier, value and currency—not payment card details.

We use this information to understand which advertisements lead to app activity and subscriptions, measure campaign performance and improve advertising. Advertising partners may link this information with information they hold from their own services or other apps and websites, subject to your permissions, their terms and applicable law.

Our Meta and TikTok advertising integrations initialize only after Apple’s tracking permission is granted. Declining tracking does not restrict app functionality or remove purchased access.

You can change your tracking permission in your device’s Settings, under Privacy & Security → Tracking. Withdrawal affects future tracking; it does not automatically delete information already received by service providers. For privacy or deletion requests, use the contact details in this policy.

Apple’s tracking permission controls cross-company tracking. Declining it does not, by itself, disable Firebase app-usage analytics.

Apple’s tracking permission does not replace any additional consent, disclosure or privacy-choice requirements that may apply under the laws of your region.

Our marketing event parameters do not include Textify keyboard text, AI prompts or generated replies; AI Cleaner photo content, photo identifiers or filenames; or CountX countdown names or dates. Meta and TikTok advertising SDKs are not included in Textify’s keyboard extension or CountX’s widget/watch targets.

This exclusion concerns marketing measurement. Content processing needed to provide app features, such as Textify’s AI functionality, is described separately in this policy.
